it not the best mobo for over-clocking but that's OK because I don't over clock. I'm running a Intel QX6850 Extreme Quad-core CPU on this board. I couldn't be happier.
This board really kicks some ace. It can be tricky to get a memory setting that is stable when overclocking, but when you get it. Wow.
This MoBo comes with a default setting of 1.5Changed it to 1.9 and the problem went away. I had the same problem of intermittent and unexplained restarts. I read somewhere that OCZ recommends a voltage setting of 1.9 volts.
max. the problem with this motherboard is that with memory modules 1600 greater than 4G, u can't upgrade. memory 1600 is 4G very good motherboard. i recommend it for the super users.
There is one more problem and it's that my computer restarts at random, All parts are brand new and for my sanity sake I hope that is related to the motherboard as well. It will be a few months before I get a chance to work on the bios problem. Well I suppose this is a good board and Amazon was very quick in replacing it, but out of the box I was unable to enter bios. Update: Setting OCZ memory voltage to 1.9 fixed the restarting problem, Thanks. In the mean time if anyone else has same problem and comes up with a fix please write review. I was able to update to the latest version no problem and boot into windows vista fine but when pressing F2 all I would get was a blank black screen and I would have to reset. Strange problem, I know.
